Well I'm glad this got a second go around. I was on the edge of my seat by the end of Part II. Funny stuff. :)

It's funny, that guy is nuts, i read a bunch of his stuff before.

But to be honest, the signature don't stand for jack. That's why places check for ID's. I think the only place that signature really counts these days are on a check or something.

I worked at retail places, there's no use for signature, they swipe card, we charge them at the end of the day.

The signature only matters when you have a dispute, and even so, I don't think a signature would matter all that much.

yah but only 1 in 30 places will check your ID for credit card use.. I've only been checked once or twice

During the summer I work as a cashier/every other position at a liquor store ... I never really cared what peoples' signatures looked like. I would watch them write it, and every now and then people will just make a line, maybe a few curves in it from time to time, but it's all the same.

The managers have us check IDs on purchases $50 or more paid with a credit card. Older women always thought I was messing around thinking it was to check to see if they were 21 and would just laugh, but I'd have to stomp on their flattery and tell them it's for the credit card. A few people have thanked me for it and said it made them feel safe, but I've yet to come across any stolen cards..

I've signed "Hollywood Var" before. Nobody in retail stores gives a shit. Nor do I when customers pay me with CC.

i work at good guys, well i will for another month or so before i get shitcanned and the company dissapears, and we were pretty good about checking ID and signatures and such. I saw some pretty rediculas atempts at credit card fraud. laminated paper, etc. anyway, i wrote "ask for id" on my CC and it works maybe 2/5 of the time.

meh, o well. that guy is pretty funny though.

Bank of America puts your picture on the card, so I get lots of "Can I see your...oh, nevermind." lol
