if i were u, id look into hankook
My friend lives by them because they are so cheap, but he was driving on the highway, and they just fell apart, all the tread chunked off, no reason at all.

I DD mine for awhile and didn't have any problems on them.
They're coming off for race tires though.

Nankangs are good for daily driving and burning off in the rear. Those and Wanli's are good for that. Thats TDM for your ass, gotta love it! Hankooks are the top of the line TDM tire, imo. They're actually quite nice. You might want to look in Federals, 595s i believe, as well. They're cheap and are supposed to be pretty decent.
Hankook is the best bang for buck tire. I have some Nankang EX-500 205/50/16 in the front. They came with the wheels I pulled from the junkyard. They're in the front so they're not as important as the back (being a RWD vehicle). They have ok wet traction, I mean, like I wont push it hard in the rain like they where some BFG KDW2s or something. They're fine for daily driving since thats what I'm using them for, its only something temporary. When I have the money I'm going to get Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3, from what I've seen the best tire evah! If not some good Hankooks.
Wanli and Nankang tires are made in China, so the quality is mediocre. Normally these are tires that come on cheap wheel packages. Save the money and get the wheels alone, you can get better used tires with the money you save.
Good prices on Hankook here, you want to look at their Ventus line.

I've been using a pair of nankangs on and off for a few weeks. No sign of them chunking, but their traction sucks. For DD they are fine = +1 . For Auto-X They will break loose pretty easily = -1. And as a drifting tire, they made my ka feel like it had a bit more power due to it's lack of traction. All in all I doubt I'd purchace them again unless I find them at the junkyard again or they are horribly cheap.
