I have a few questions about shipping.

1. How much does it cost to ship an SR20 Package (not front clip) to Chicago Illinois? If I remember correctly someone mentioned there is a company called SOKO in the Chicago Area, do they supply engines, if so do they have a good deal?
2. If I were to get an S13 with a blown motor of some sort and wanted to ship it from say Texas or something how much would be an average cost to ship the car?
3. How long does it take for the SR to get to my location (Chicago), if I were to buy it from someone lik Unstable-Hybrids?
4. Lastly how long will it take for things like exhaust and some other mods that are good to get when getting a swap?

I am just trying to plan out my SR Project, I would liek to have it done by late July early August (before school starts again). I am just trying to find out when I should start and what I should get first.

I think you'd get raped in shipping a car. I say ship it yourself. You can drive down in a truck with a car-puller thing, or rent a u-haul and push it into the truck. That's what I'd do. And what my friend did to get his Chevelle

Since Chicago is pretty much the middle of the country, shipping a car would range from $500-$750. You can't find a 240 local? I just got my transmission crated, it has been a week since it shipped from FL, still haven't got it, cost me $150 if that gives you a good idea. I think my friend told me $1-2/lb to have something crated is a good deal.

Finding a 240 isnt that much trouble but finding one in the $500 range is hard. Are there any other places to look for a 240 with very high mileage or a blown motor (other than autotrader, cars.com, and some used auto magaziines.
