does anyone know where I can find an FSM that has the details for the convertible? I know that someone on one of the national boards posted up some shots of the convertible's reinforcements over the coupe but I'm most specifically interested in the rear 1/4 windows... mine are power and not working correctly and I can't figure them out.

I searched the convertible forum at nico, apparently there is a convertible supplement, I just need to find one now. I don't think there is a pdf one yet.

I'm highly interested in finding the supplement too. I was also wondering where I can buy a hardcopy version of the FSM online. thanks in advance.

The best place to check, honestly, is probably going to be the convertible forum at nico... its the only place I've found where people know what they are talking about with the vert.

Being a long time convertible owner myself, I find the guys over there on the NICO convertible section are helpful with some very good advice on the 5spd, door swapout, vert top advice, electrical, etc.

I had the convertible supplement once, but I'm not sure where it got to. It's probably in storage in CA.

They have that hideous bulging thing on their doors and a normal s13 does not. Plus the weight of a convertible's door is like a cadillac's

the doors have big metal plates in them where the seatbelts mount to since nissan had to stick with auto seatbelts... the retractors and everything are in the doors, in addition to the plates to hold it all in there, and the steel pillar the shoulder belt mounts to, and the giant ugly post...
I'm swapping mine for coupe doors.
mr mephistop- if you find it let me know, I'm borrowing one for now but still interested in buying one.

Yeah, I've been asking the people selling 240sx manuals on ebay if they also have convertible supplements, but they all say negative. If anyone finds these online then it'd be great. Thanks in advance.

Just found this tidbit of info by searching:
Genuine Nissan Service Manuals:
Dyment Distribution Services
20770 Westwood Road
Strongsville, OH. 44136
(800) 247-5321
240SX Service Manual Prices: (As of January 1998)

There isn’t any s&h. If you have the manual sent to CA. or OH. you will pay applicable sales tax.. They will take a credit card.
I also googled alternate phone numbers:

I found an amended 1993 supp. from an ebay seller, picked it up for $47 shipped.
as for parts youre pretty much on your own, your best bet would probably be to contact ASC, the company that converted the cars.
