those cars are pure sex. i found the thread yesterday and have looked at it like 8 times since. look at the turbo on that yellow sr powered 510. that could suck up a small child, or large child. whichever one gets too close.

wow that was a lot of pics!

Nice to see 30, 40 year old cars in the same condition, if not better, than they came out of the factory though.

But I don't consider the 80s cars as classics (yet)

I'm assuming there was no way it was gonna get finished in time for the show, but obviously, even in non-running form, the car is just stupid impressive.

^ there was a clean one on ebay last year (from cali) that I wanted to buy. Looked almost the same, other then the fender mirrors. Black with gunmetal watanabe's. Nice condition, and sold for 11-k.

i'm not sure. most of the cars looked LHD. maybe the actual tub of the car was in america. just different sheetmetal. or maybe alot of them were from central america. i drive around my city looking through the white trash neighborhoods looking for older cars. i've found alot of bmw 2002's, datsun 210 coupes, and mid 70's toyotas. right now i'm trying to get a 69 fairlady hard top convertible from an old man. but he won't sell it for a reasonable price.

My job requires that I be on VW vortex a good bit ( I work for forgemotorsport ) so I was all over this thread. Great stuff to be sure. The hondas were kind of out of place, but aside from that some nice stuff.

oooOOOoooOOO yeah...i remember your thread not too long ago...damn that r31 has come a long way...i remember it being nice, but definitely not that nice...your efforts have really paid off...im sure it runs like a champ too...your restoration skills are excellent...

Rocky Auto makes some MEAN cars, so does Garage Ishizaka.

I really like that one black AE86 with the 3S-GE and the Wats....amazing car.

Oh, and $11k for the PGC10 on ebay is about right. It wasn't a real GT-R (i.e. no precious S20 engine). It was a 2000 GT, which means that it had the L20. You can grab those for around $10k in fairly good condition.

Expect to pay around $80-100k for one of those Ishizaka-built KPGC10's though....even more if they've got a bluetop or greentop Nissan Motorsports S20 in them.
