a.) are you trying to sell this car in this forum?
b.) are you insane asking $7K for it?

what year is the car?
7k for a wrecked car?
I would pay no more than $500 for a car with salvage title...
Unless I'm misreading your post, you are selling this car, and we have a for sale (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=SF;f=4) forum for stuff like this. If I am misreading your post and you are looking to buy this, then no, its not a good deal at all.

Dude having a salvage title is very iffy.....
Always Questioned. I would seriously take that car to go get looked at...FOR REAL!
You never know how that thing was put back together...or if it has been flooded...

mike has got a point...before i bought my car...i had brought 2 auto inspector type people with me...and they looked at everything...bumper to bumper...before i even test drove it...not a bad way to spend 100 bucks (50 per guy)..

one of the biggest problems with salvage is if you plan on selling the car again...it just brings down the value...see what people dont know is that some cars that have scrap/junk titles which are supposed to be driven on the road you can get a new title for them, and nobody ever knows that they were wrecked unless they put it together half ass...and buy the way i also have a salvage car 97 240, in the process of fixing it, just get it looked over throughly

I think this is another example of someone who thinks that just because someone puts a certain amount of money into a car, that they should get back almost 100% of the aftermarket stuff's value. Depreciation (sp?) means nothing. Then they get pissed when you offer them alot less then what they're asking. It drives me nuts <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':pissed:'>
