alright i really want coiolvers.. mainly teins.. they are great(but expensive) i was also thinking of apex worldsport(but they have no dampenign capabilites--- how do they ride, smooth. i really want th adjustabilty of height(that's why i want coilovers, and want them to ride comfortably. what do you suggest?... someone suggested either kybagx or tockiko blues with some groundcontrols>.. well tell me what you think?

if you're trying to find a strut/spring kit on the cheap, go check out modacar.com or something, my suggestion is go with TEIN HA's, you should be able to find them on a groupbuy or something since they're so common here in the US all of a sudden.

arent there coilover sleeves available for most 240's now, maybe even GC ones? you might want to look into that if you're trying to get good something cheaper.

Check this out coastek, Driftin Jim's review (http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=013982)
Snipit:
"I have only 1/2" fender gap and I can still take speed bumps at 25mph. All the little bumps are filtered out, maybe because of the helper springs? If a friend with standard spring/shock combo drives my car, the 1st thing they comment on is the ride quality being way better than their's. A friend has Ground Control coilovers with camber plates and his car squeeks and stuff over bumps/turns...mine doesn't make a single noise."

Looks like the dampening really is THAT important <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
price vs performance...i'd say these look the best for daily driving...

well, TEIN is reknowned for making spectacular coilovers, and the HA serious is known for being the best balanace of both ride comfort and handling (damping force is adjustable, so you can change it to how you want). you can also pick up a TEIN EDC (electronic damping controller) for around $300, which will allow you to adjust it from the drivers seat, and set 3 presets so you can go from all out performance to a real soft ride at the push of a button, this will work on all TEIN coilovers though. i dont think any other aftermarket suspension manufacturer offers an option like this (yet). if only you could adjust height, too...

These currently are only available for type flex coilovers.
