View Full Version : S15 parts, Koyo rad and nismo mounts

OK so here it is. I have a S15 gauge cluster, S15 DIff (punking with speed sensor, 2way clutch type LSD, output shafts and axles) a S14 SR koyo radiator and Nismo motor mounts. The motor mounts and Raditor are new in box, only opened to make sure they were in good condition. my SR motor fell through so i have to dump this stuff.

if thats a s15 diff. its not clutch packs its helical which a mechanical LSD\
also do you happen to have the factory plast bezel for the gauge cluster?

thanks for the catch, I changed it. it was mechanical. I forgot because i've had it sitting around for months collecting dust.
as far as the bezel goes, yes i have it, but it has a crack in it. since i was going to put it in my S14 I was going to use the S14 bezel one to get a factory clean look to it.
anyways all this stuff is just taking up space in my closet. hit it up.

Actually, that's a clutch pack differential, not helical. (though I guess it's still a "mechanical"-type lsd) The picture clearly shows the ramps and radial thrust pin.
Trust me-
1. I have an S15 Helical diff sitting 3 feet from me.
2. I've taken apart and rebuilt 4 Helical diffs (quaife and torsens), for various applications. I've even worked on making an aluminum housing and aluminum differential case for the torsen Helical diff.

So either you got an aftermarket clutch-type that was installed into an S15, or some S15's came with clutch-type (different model trim, probably)

Good luck selling it, though.

well then, he got lucky and I stand corrected. I was just commenting on the fact that S15's came with helical and I was not really looking at the pics.

yes i had been over it in a few posts and everyone agreed it wasn't a HLSD but insted soem sort of mechanical type. anyways pendign sale now

excuse my ignorance.. but will the S15 gauge cluster fit into an S14 bezel? has anyone done this? if it works, i might take your sale into consideration!

it takes a bit of modifaction to get it to work. best used with a SR swap and then still will need a dakota digital signal converter to get to play right with other than S15 speed sensor types
