View Full Version : Monkey Magic Tension Rods for s13
These are brand new and I might already have them sold but I just want to make sure I have them sold before I move out.
I have had Cusco and Knock off Tien Tension Rods for my s13 before and these are WAY better quality and alot thicker of a rod compared to all the others I have seen. These are still brand new and never been installed.
Brand new they cost $250 + Shipping from Japan and you would have to wait 4 months to get them
I will sell them to you for $225 Shipped.

They will allow for Caster adjustment. But most of all they help tighten the front end. This is the WAY better way to go about upgrading your worn out rubber bushing from your tension rod, like PDM sells. It will make the car handle alot better and make it feel way lighter in the front. It will stick around turns and make it seem like you cant mess up going around a turn thanks to so much responce and control given by the tension rods.

Yours look much better pout
Make sure when you install them they get on there like a MOFO. My project silvia ones had a problem on my old silver s13. Kyle called me today and said one came loose, the people I had install them always do good work so who knows.

any cheaper? i broke my tension rod couple weeks ago... i know, much sadness, and i had to find one in the junk yard, but the sad thing is, it didn't come w/ bolts, so i only have 1 bolt on it right now, from my broken rod... and i really don't have 225
Sorry, I dont really want to sell these so Im not going down on price. I still might install them, but I feel I may have a dif 240 by the time I start doing all my stuff for my project car.

If you've got the money, why are you trying to pay for it in plastic, anyway? ;-)
I still have to ask the local friend that wanted to buy them if he still wants them. I should know by today, if not then probly monday. Sorry for the delay, but its first come first serve.
Grant, you put those on yourself? Goddamb. I couldnt break the damb bolt on my old s13. Much less with a monkey wrench! Oh and please tell me you documented your install so we can put it up on the install page. If not then get you ass back down under there and re isntall em

document the install? lol jack up the car, take off the front wheels, remove 3 bolts, and that's it!, and when u put it back on do the the reverse. oh yea. WD40 is your friend!!!
I woke up feeling really sore today though, use of power tools will help a lot.
and by the way, KEEP THE T/C RODS!!!
