I was checkin out your page.. What all did Sunbelt do to the engine?? I hear they kickass
y'know.. thats an excellent question. they aren't very informative when you ask them that question about "showroom stock" motors. they most likly deck the head a bit, balance & blueprint, re map ecu. i do know they lean the shit out it somehow... it dyno at 155 RWHP... i think
It does run great, very smooth and spools up quite a bit better than stock.

Did you have the headers and exhaust on it when you dyno'd it? do you mind if I ask how much it ran you to get that done?

bbp, your car isnt turbo so how can it "spool up" as you say? not trying to criticize but i was just wondering what exactly you meant by that
no it was pre-headers etc... My concern is running it too lean with the additions. I contacted them with my concerns, they told me to ship the motor and ecu to them, didn't offer any other information. I have run 2 events and the plugs look great, I am looking forward to doing some dyno testing.
s13 - blueprinting basically machines the engine components to the limit of their specs. It "frees up" the motor a bit, not much, but noticable. It is normally done by showroom stock racers because the machining is still within factory specs, therefore "legal", and it is stupid expensive for the gain you get. the motors were like 5-6 grand each!

I like Blitz gauges a LOT, but they are real expensive. Autometer does the trick for for about half the money.
A lot of gauges (including autometer) I believe are only backlit which make them hard to read at night. Blitz makes some indiglo gauges that are beautiful at night. But that probably doesn't matter to you since I would assume you don't drive at night in your 240

where is a good place to get autometer gauges? i've looked online but i dont know where to look. also, what do you suggest? mechanical or electric?

honestly I don't own any gauges or know much about them besides the way they look and mount. I say blitz b/c They look hot, and they are a good brand. I say autometer b/c they are domestic and are cheaper and do the trick. as far as actual functionality, I know how they are "suppose" to work, but have no experience with them so I can't really make a good suggestion. As far as availability, try
www.pdm-racing.com You can get Dual A-Piller gauge mount too. looks sweet.
(you may want to start a new thread since this is WAY off topic..)
