I have a 91 240sx SE in another thread it was pointed out that j30s have an abs sensor in the front and i may have to use a different drive shaft to use a j30 differential??

What do I need to buy in order to put a j30 lsd in my car. Can I reuse my drive shaft, axles, and diff cover?

Thanks

hahahahahahahhhahahhahahhhhh fuck you. i've searched and read tons of faqs about this, all this requires is a short one line answer from some one who knows and has done this swap to their car, not some little kid that jumped on the "tell people to search" bandwagon

I see. So with all this research you've done you still can't figure it out?

Not even speaking from my own experience of installing over two dozen of them during the past 11 years, I browsed the web for 10 seconds and came up with this info:

Swap cover, S13 is 4bolt, J30 is 2bolt.
Use existing axles if 6bolt (95-97 J30s), swap axles if 5bolt (92-94 J30s).
Use existing driveshaft.

Funny thing is, all that could have also been determined by just looking under your car. Maybe you should hold off on trying this if you can't even read and comprehend simple instructions.

Dont mess with RUSS, cuz he is the man!!!!

And whats wrong with the "Search you moron!!" bandwagon. Why wait for answers when you can get them yourself. This forum has pretty much everything covered already.

You should have really searched. Oh well, its your own demise.

Stock J30s should come as VLSD, which are crap, or turn to crap. Either way, crapsville.

Spend the money on an actual clutch type, or weldicous type :wiggle:
