has anyone else had trouble the fm901's? the sidewall on these tires seems to be poorly constructed. One of my sidewalls cracked and leaked air after hitting a small bump, and my friends entire sidewall just ripped off while driving on the freeway the other night. I don't know, but it seems to me like the sidewalls on these tires is rather shitty, jsut wondering if anyone else has had trouble with them.

those bitches need like 50PSI, any less than 40 and they are just too sloppy.
I ran them till just yesterday, and the only problem i had was my alignment was shitty and chewwed them up.

i've drifted in these, reg air pressure mid 30ish, no probs in terms of structure failure

they're kinda greasy on the tracks after a while though.. some love em, some hate em...

What size tires are you running? Hopefully you bought the "road hazard" warranty option.

They have well-known soft sidewalls but that's about all I've heard. If Dunlop stiffened the sidewalls, they'd actually be pretty good tires.

Probably the only tread (as in delaminated tread) of a performance tire I've ever seen on the side of the road was from an FM901. (Yeah, I spotted it while cruising by at 80 on the freeway. What can I say, I know tires.) That statement means exactly NOTHING but just thought I'd throw it in there.

I run these on a daily basis on 18s. Haven't had any problems(5 months now?). Sidewalls are definately softer than my Falken ST115s.

they make alot of noise when they wear down... and their sidewall is soft I have them in 18"s and 15"s on my gf's integ... not great tires but they are cheap and they get the job done :D

the sidewalls after they heat up get really soft and you can really notice it. I went on a spirited drive in my friend's corolla. He has longchamps 15x8's with a 195-50-15 stretch. Even though they are stretched you can really notice the sidewall rolling going through the turns after they are warmed.
