hey wats up.. im new to this... hopefully i can find some tech help ... i just bout finished putting my redtop into my 91 hatch... everything is good except for the motor not idlin right.. i sort of isolated the problem to the MAFS. when i unplug it, and start the motor, it revs up to about 2500 rpms.. which is undertanding... but when i plug it the motor dies.. now i know the mafs is good, and the wiring is good. i swapped mafs with a known working one and it did the same thing.. no when i i start the car with the mafs plug plugged in, it revs perfectly and runs great. revwise... but it doesnt idle correctly... it either idles at 2000 rpms or goes down to very low rpms and then it stalls....un less i feed it more air.. so can someone help out with this. thanks.

Which MAFS are u using??? because u can't use the DOHC one. You either gotta use the SOHC, SR, or ........Z32(with safc or modded ecu).
-Make sure your throttle plate is all the way down, then ajust cable.
-once it starts right and idles smooth, adjust your IACV to the right idle.
That should get u goin
