What i have:

s13 sr redtop

anyway, my car is eating coolant. it smells like its being burnt by the manifold. my thought is that its either leaking from the lines or seals in the turbo are bad and its leaking in the turbo. i can also smell coolant coming from the exhaust.

i have no oil in the radiator or no water/coolant in my oil. leaking coolant/water from the back part of the motor cause theres a puddle right below it

just want some other suggestions before i replace my turbo and lines.

thanks

I have the same problem. I'm almost positive it's my turbo seals.

make sure you got the coolant line bolt, that goes into the engine, tightened enough with them orings. I lost 1 oring and tightened mine anyway and it leaked, i just tightened more and it stopped.

well, one thing fixed. found a hole in one of the hoses by the intake mainfold. it was spewing coolant/water from it.

gonna check up periodically to see if that was the only thing eating the coolant. hopefully that was it.

thanks for the help guys.
