I'm new here, and I don't own a 240, I own an Rx-7. I came here though cause I have respect for people that drive good cars, and understand how they operate/how to really make them faster and what not. I just wanted to start this thread to know how many people out there are getting tired of the whole Ricer scene. I assume that there are people on this forum who just threw a Tenzo-R intake on their car and think they are now ready to race. There are a few of these people on the rx7club.com forum that are starting to get really annoying, I was just wondering how everyone here felt about these morons.

i threw on a datsun badge today, i think i lost HP...
ahh, hey, don't hate, educate them. everyone start out w/ little understanding of the car. for example, b4 i got my 240sx, i was looking at crx's and wanting to put clear tail lights in them... thank good i looked into preludes and wanted to put altezzas on... that's when i walked pass a s13 hatch for sale, looked up specs and it's a RWD, so i moved in w/ s13. and i'm learning even now that nozzle lights are stupid...
so, we just have to be patient and try to tell the ricers that washer lights are illegal, or hyper whites actually put out less light on the road, and that your signal lights have to be amber unless it's on the front of the car, and that window decal stickers are only allowed on the lower left or lower right of the windshiled while NOT blocking the VIN. or you need DOT approved lights and your headlight has to be at lease 22" from the ground, and it is illegal to swap a airbag equipted steering wheel to a non air bag equipted. the list goes on...

Well said 240meowth.
Unfortunately, a thread like this is a flame war waiting to happen, so i think i'm going to diffuse this little bomb before it goes off <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
