Hey guys im from ohio and have always wondered what the car scene is like over there, more specifically Nissans. All I know is that you say "rad" alot. (if its true) Do you guys get around smoke with your SR20DET swaps?
Are tuning shops abundant?
When you see some othe guy on the street do you wanna race him or vice versa?
Do ya have unorganized car shows? Are cars your first love?
Do you drive your cars with huge battle scars from drifting and not even car?
do you care how your car looks?
How long have you been into nissans/cars

Sorry if this sounds real stupid. Id just like to know how things work over there and the general atmosphere. The only things I can pick up from these forums are how some of you guys are VERY knowledgable and arent even mechanics.

tuning shops? yes. good ones? no.
racing people? people try and race me more then i others. not too often but also not in those areas personally.
smoke w/ SR? i dont get.
unorganized car shows? like a meet? yes.
first lvoe? for some. not for others
some do. some dont. i do. friends do. haybales, walls, cones, aero broken and retaped yeah.
into cars ? some more then others.

-There are always ways to get around smog but I wouldn't know...
-Tuning Shops abundant? Think Starbucks. Few I trust though and that includes some of the big named ones.
- I try to ignore street ricers.. it's hard
-There are meets happening all the time for what appears to be any and every make of car imaginable. I would say my car is my 'first love' right now... but I wan't a divorce
- Hmmm Varies. There are few that wear their battle scars proudly but for the most part people here only care about having the mostest jdm drifta looking car they can afford. Again refer to The Fast and the Furious.

-First thing first, I've never said "rad" except for when pronouncing "RADiator"
-SR smog? Meh. Just call Tyrone.
-Cars are always revving on me... And when evo's and sti's do it I cry. But there is no point in racing them being as how gas is hella and I wouldn't waste the time.
-Unorganized car shows. Sounds like TapX to me.
-Cars as a first love. Women and cars are about equal.
-Battle scars. I have them but I don't take pride in them being as how if I crash that means I suck.
-I love the way my car looks. As for others outside of the nissan community they only wonder why.
-How long I've been into cars. Since I was a fetus being driven to the hospital.

I cant even get my SR to pass emissions in ohio. I dont know how you guys are doing it, Id like to know tho...I might give my right lung for it. Ive been on my "last temp tags for 3months now",lol.
Ive been around cars all my life and was forced into them...i was under cars with my dad before I could talk.

-Car
-Family
-School
-Friends


Yeah Im trying to hang on my caar because having money and going to college dont mix to well.

Depends. When it's clean, I feel good when I drive it. When it's dirty, it's just my dirty little slut and I could care less what it looks like.

I got my first s13 back in December of '02. It was my first car.
