Hey all,
the title says it all. I was looking around at prices for exhausts and the NUR SPEC and the N1 are neck in neck in price (396 to 409 respectively). What should I do? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> I can't buy it now, and MA is having some issues with exhausts (mad fines I hear) but I wanted to know if anyone has the NUR SPEC. I know the N1 is nice, but I'd like to know about the tone on the NUR SPEC. Will I be deaf after riding on the highway? That is a big decision, cuz I drive the highway all the time. Thanks everyone!

i have the blitz nur spec. keep in mind that the nur spec is not a full catback it's only the rear section. if you want the blitz cat back it's the nur spec R (for racing). some people think i was dumb to spend 400 bucks on just the rear section but i love it. its really not that loud but it's very low in tone.it looks fukin awesome and i think its nicer because not everyone has one. i am the only person in my town with a blitz exhaust. now i can't tell you any horsepower numbers or anything like that but i have heard that say the catback will give you 7 hp then the rear section will only give you six. keep in mind that is just something i was told so no smartass comments from anyone please.
Okay, so it's low... but is it loud? as loud as the N1?

I was looking enjukuracing.com last night and found these two's exhausts. I have been looking for the Blitz NUR Spec for some time now. They have it listed at 599 and the N1 at 399.
Are you saying that if I spend 600 all I am getting is the axle back and not a cat-back? If that is the case, its the N1 for me!

The blitz is Stainless though. I think that is what your really paying for. As far as the nurspec on Enjuku's site, I asked ken about it, and he implyed it was full cat-back. you should email him, and ask.
who makes a quiet 3" exhaust for our beloved SR20s? Or is that an oxymoron? ('quiet 3" exhaust'<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

The quitest 3" exhaust I found has been the 5Zigen Fireball, keep in mind that once you go turbo, the exhaust tone will be much quiter. Any 3" exhaust on a N/A vehicle will be loud.
The Blitz Nur Spec is available in Cat Back form. The only problem I have found with Stainless Steal is that the welds are not as good as the coated piping. Its difficult to get a good weld on stainless steal. In Japan right now, majority of the Titanium exhaust systems are having problems with hangers breaking from the welds.

whenever i see a pic of the N1 on somebody's car it always looks so dirty or even rusted. is there a way to keep it as shiny as it is out of the box?
