I just installed a B&M and damn, the shift is so short. I just have a couple of quick questions for those of you who have it:

How loud is the vibration? (Some people have complained about it, so I'm just wondering how loud is it for you. mine sounds like a very soft vibration noise)

Is the shift extremely notchy? (Most short shifters have notchiness in the shift, but this is one takes the cake)

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure because the guy I bought it from modified it and took out the metal piece in the middle and replaced it with dynamat.

Tip: for those of you who are planning on getting one, it's a lot easier to drill about two quarter sized holes to reach the front bolts. You don't have to get under the car. Just put dynamat over the holes when you're done. Very simple installation.

The guy I bought it from removed the metal piece in the middle of the shaft. I'm not sure how he did it, but I'll email him to find out more info for you. I'll keep you posted. Any answers about the notchiness? Thanks
