hey guys.....i was coming back from the girlfriends house one night when all of a sudden it started to rain really hard.....anyways i was about 10 miles from home so i thought i could make it home....well i have this feeling that i got some water in through my air filter ( located infront of the driver front tire) and i talked it out with the guy who did my swap and to make a story short.....he thinks that the water would have either shorted out the MAF sensor or the MAF decided to stop working. anyways i was wondering, i got the redtop sr20det and i was running the stock '89 MAF. the car was tuned with a SAFC-II and i was wondering if i could install a MAF from a 300zx and if the car would run, or if it would need to be tuned again? the reason i am asking this is because the shop that does my tuning is about 2 hours away. and its about $500 for a flat bed to bring my car down there. so anyways, would i be able to drive the car down there with a 300zx MAF or would i need to get a s13 MAF just to get it to the shop to save on the towing fees and then get them to tune the car with a 300zx MAF?

shouldnt need a new tune, just make sure you set the correct hot-wire in number for the z32 maf
