I saw someone at an event with rugged hose clamps on IC piping that was being tightened with a ratchet. Never seen them before, nor heard of them. I really need to invest in a set though, becuase the regular worm gear clamps just cant handle any real torque. Anybody running these or know what they are called?

^^ 3" would be to big, otherwise, I'd take those of your hands. Im not sure if this is what I was reffering to, but It does look like it should work.

are you talking about the constant-torque clamps? they have the spring and nut combo.
i got a bunch of t-bolts from hightempsilicone.com for like 3.xx a piece. i think the CT's run more than double that.

Go to napa and check their catalog to find the right size i love it because if i get the wrong size i just return them. They have spring loaded tbolt clamps and the regular ones and some other ones.
