S15 Sil-80?

I have seen quite a few pics of S15 Front End Sil-Eighties (most famous being the Signal Auto Drift Sil-Eighty). I know in Japan the generation years are quite a bit different with certain generations. The 180sx body style ended here in America in 1993, along with the RPS13 Body... But then In Japan the S13 was still being produced until mid-to-late 90's; in the mean time Nissan Motor Co. had already put into production S14's and maybe even S15's.... Well here's my question. On all these Jap-Spec Sil-Eighties they are sooooo beautiful because they're S15 front ends....Those evil projector headlights make me squirm.... I need! I need! So what's the deal? Are all of these front ends done by Drifters with big cash or on the official factory Nissan Sil-Eighties were their S15 front ends also available?

all the S15 Sil80's you are seeing are just conversions done by the drifters. &nbsp;The only "official" Sil80 was the RPS13 even though they did run into the mid 90's and the S14 had already come out.

Rich drifter hehehehehe. &nbsp;Drifters (in Japanland) I have heard, will save every last penny for their cars, to buy mainly performance parts for their cars. &nbsp;I am guessing only the most experienced, older people, with better paying jobs have the Sil80 conversion. &nbsp;I know even their, the price isnt cheap.

I can tell you most of these drifters have friends that have junkyards. I &nbsp;can bet most of the drifters probably own a junkyard or body shop or has a friend that does. They don't buy kits over here they mix and match parts from junkyards and body shops. Most of these guys are poor very poor.
