hey everybody,

if you haven't heard sept. 1st is official - Stick it up the petroleum gas industry people's as* day. Don't buy gas on sept. 1st - there will be too much of a supply produced and it will screw everything up for em. If the prices don't get lower - people want to have more don't buy gas days. It really f*cks them up :fawkd:

Are you aware that this would be the 4th such event that I have heard wind of since 2001? This shit will do nothing to lower gas prices. The gas we would have OTHERWISE bought on Thursday was already sold to the gas stations in March sometime, at the very least...
I should go out and get gas on Thursday out of spite, even though Friday and Sunday are the days I usually buy gas, just out of habit.

if you actually want to 'fuck them up' sell your 240sx and buy a hybrid.

until then supply and demand > all.

These stupid "consumer gas strikes", or whatever u wanna call them, are as big a waste of time as online petitions.

Yay for eMail hoaxes too... If you wanna effect change, go into politics, otherwise just grin and bare it, all these "no gas days" are only hurting the local station owners, that's about as far as it goes, way to give your own community the finger.

i guess the best way to save money on gas and screw the gas company is to get a bicycle and never drive a car again. so that way they can keep the gas to themselve.

Yeah, you really want to make a difference? Get a hybrid or full out electric car.

Stop this chain-mail shit. Look.. if 1/7 of the people with a car will buy gas on a given day.. if those people skip their day, they will NEED the gas the following day, which means that Sept 2, there will be 2/7th of the gas-using people filling up.
This will lead to long lines, and quite probably price gouging. Think ahead, fool.
