i know some of you guys have removed your intake manifold with it still in the car.
i'm having a small issue with the install. the intake manifold is basically in and secured. however, i'm having a hell of a time trying to get the last nut on it. this nut basically goes on the stud towards the rear of the head. part of the fuel rail is also secured with this nut. the fuel rail actually partially obstructs the nut, as well as some vacuum hoses and what i think is an evaporator for the EGR system.
i've tried everything...
-wobbly socket + extension + double sided tape = can't get the right angle
-girly tiny asian hands = not girly enough
-long breaker bar + short socket + double sided tape + going in from the front = too much stuff in the way; can't get the right angle
right now i'm really tempted to just leave it off, but i'd rather not. any clever ideas?
