I'm trying to remove A/C from my Datsun and also my S13. Also debating about removing the P/S from my S13 as well.

It seems like it would be easier to simply cap off the lines where the rubber hoses were connected with a rubber cap of some sort. This would also allow reinstallation of the components someday (as opposed to crimping or other permanent solution). Also, cleaner than clamping in a plug into a short hose piece. They all seem to be about 5/8"

Anyone know if this is a good solution? If so where can I but these things. I've searched the usual places and have turned up only flimsy caps that will probably rip from the pressure.

With the A/C, pull all the lines and then cap the evaporator with rubber caps, you can find them at any hose shop or a place that sells/install A/C equipment as they come prefitted to all new lines.

For the P/S, run a loop on the rack with a piece of high pressure hose.
