What would be an ideal tire size to run without having to pull the fenders, Ive heard 235 would be good, but thats gonna be streached, or would streached tires the only way to get away without pulling fenders?

It's going to be really hard for you to put a 10 inch wide rim on your car without openning up the fenders. Especially if you have an s13 it's just about impossible but if your lucky enough to have an s14 then you might be able to get away with putting 235/(40 or 45)/17 on the rims. Of course as you know it's going to stretch the tires with will shorten the life span of them (but that's how they do i drifter style in Japan so who cares :D ). My friend just installed 10 inch wide R/H J8 on his car and he had to get his fenders professionally widened. I'm not saying it's impossible to do it without bodywork but to get you a little more space, whip out a baseball bat and use the handle to roll out your fender lip and bit. Might give you just enough clearance to get by without rubbing to much.

Dude 205/45 I doubt will ever fit over a 10inch wide rim.

Don't know what that guy up above is talking about, maybe he missed the offset portion....
17x10 + 35 is easy to fit, s13 or s14. Just roll and camber, no pull. (s14 fits with no roll at all)

Here's 245-45 on a 17x10 +35 on an s13... (this is in regards to rears BTW, fronts are a whole different story.....)

if you look around vwvortex you see people running 195 45's over 10.5's

no joke. it looks nuts.

i know a guy running some 17x10's with 275's and all he did was roll the fenders, but im not sure of his offset. would a +38 offset work with a setup like this and still fit flush?
