Get those Freezer Gel blue fake ice pack things. You know. Theirs squishy, go in the freezer, come out really cold, and still squishy. They go in lunchboxes and crap. Surely you know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, get a cooler full of those, and before you run, strap like 5 of them around your air intake tube. Hopefully you have an Injen or some other aluminum tube. Even if not, it'll really lower the temp. Lower temp air = denser air = more power.

lol.. jeff. nice.

Take crap out of the car. remove spare.. lower air pressure in your rear tires to about 20-25 psi. what kind of 60' where you getting. 15.3 is a damn good time for the 240. especially with nothing but exhaust. Other than gutting it, buy more goodies! like a header, and cams, and ecu upgrade

All you have is apexi n1 dual and you're running a 15.3??

Where do you live? what was the temperature?

that is a dman good time.. i know i know it's no F&F times.. but it's very good for a car with nothing but n-1 dual exhaust.. i say buy more power with header, and ecu ,and CAI.. or heck just save and go turbo

Well. If you don't wanna IcePack up your intake, which will really help... as long as you don't open your hood for friends, who will flame you. Anyway, like everyone else said, lose some weight. You car is light enough. But here, you are adding mass to the car. Go on a diet. Eat ice cubes and tofu, and excercise regularly. That will get you a better E.T.

(I really don't know you. NO TAKING OFFENSE!

I live in Indiana and the outside temp was 88 but prob, 100 some on the track, last week I ran a 15.3 too and it was 44 degrees outside, but i had a full interior, i ran a 15.3 again in the hot air with no interior, and i only weigh 130 lbs sooo... id say thats pretty light, my 60 foor this week was a 2.3 last week was a 2.1, but my trap speed was 2 mph higher than last week. I also got a hella R/T, a .525

I have a 98se with n1 dual, intake with cold air extension, magnecore wires, denso plugs, and some minor suspension stuff. Once I get my 5spd in, I wonder what I will be able to run.

If you're fighting for that .01 second you can check you're alignment. Is your car dropped at all because if it is, theres is a good chance that you have negative camber. You can also try a little bit of positive camber on the rear because when you rear end dips down, your camber will become close to neutral. also you can try moving your battery to the trunk, I know its not much but the little stuff will add up. You can try using narrow tires in the front and that should help too. How do you line up at the start line? Do you go over and then back up or do you just creep up until the lights come on without going over? That makes a difference. I forgot what they called it but you know how you have the plastic splash guard under you car? Well, I know some people that have something like that but it runs the entire lenght if the car to allow the airflow under the car to be smooth.

I dont want to flame here but depending on the sea level there i think you are bs'n your time. I am from the bay area in cali and i ran a 15.1 with i/h/e, crank pulley, and a jim wolf ecu. Now granite i had full interior, heavy 17inch wheels and a custom speaker encloser in the trunk but still, that seems a little low to me.

Junia it's called staging and the best way to do it is deep staging (creep up and don't trip the lights) you can get the best R/T s that way. "But you don't have to take my word for it" Lavar Burton (reading rainbow circa 1987)

Thats an extremely low trap speed for that time. But really nice launch there! That probably explains it. Are you crossing in 3rd or 4th? At the top of 3rd gear, most basically stock 240sx's cross. Kinda hope you weren't adding a shift.

Well, I dont drive a Nissan, so I'm here sticking up for my bud Jason. I can vouch for his 15.3 times. I ran him once. He's got a helluva nice car, and it looked really nice in the rear view of my Integra. Haha, anyway, I can have my timeslip scanned as well if you dont believe me.

that is one quick 97' you got there. Now you need to throw some more bolt ons on there and see if you can break into the 14's. GOod luck man. Keep us posted on your progress.

I think he can get his time down a little more with his current set up. He just needs to hone his drag skills a little more. But he's definately getting there.
