View Full Version : upgrade: gt2871r,740s, z32, pfc. won't start?

My sr was fine for 700miles already, up until i went for the upgrade. Opted for the 2871, was sure i installed everything correctly, and now all it does is flood, itll crank but wont start. i set the power fc to z32maf,50% fuel/.08 lag , and turned off the boost control. ideas? :(

take it to a tuner...that would be my idea.

I just did the same setup on my car and it runs fine...I am in need of a Power FC though, I have it set with SAFC II and it runs , But I dare not get into boost

Spark plugs? Are you getting spark?

Check Fuel pressure?

there is spark but looks weak to me, maybe from after being drenched in gasoline, shouldnt it be dry by now? (1 week)

what would be considered good fuel pressure?

stock is roughly 36-42 psi ish. Rite now with my GT2871R, 740cc, z32 maf and enthalphy rom tune...I have my rail pressure set close to ~60 psi. Like I said before, save some money and take it to a tuner/dealer to get your power FC tune. Itll be worth every cent if done right.

ill check my fuel pressure thanks!, but yeah i would like to take it to a tuner, once it starts hehe. i dont want to have to pay extra for them to troubleshoot it so it can start, then money to be tuned.
