Anyone know what if any benefits to putting a mis-firing system on a '90 240SX with a SR20DET? or is it just a waste of money and time?

The misfiring system was used to keep turbo lag to a minimum back in the old days of non ball bearing turbos. I don't think you would benefit too much from having it today with the turbos that are available. The turbos today spool much faster than the older ones and unless you want the misfiring system for drag racing, I don't think you'll benefit too much from it. Does anyone else have anything to add?

misfire systems are a drag thing only, not to mention expensive and abusive to your turbo. they misfire cylinders to get gas into the exhaust and late spark them to shoot the combustion charge out the exhaust valve to spin the turbine at a wicked velocity, they will kill your turbine very fast, not to mention valves, seats, gaskets, damn near everything.
but if you rebuild after every race who cares.
