People with Bride seats, or any other FIA approved seat like the Zeta 3 have a slot for the submarine belt?
I am tired of my old POS Sparco and I am looking for a better seat. In the near future I plan to install a cage or roll bar and run a harness. NASA proracing only will allow a 5 or 6 point harness if you are going to have one at all, so the seat has to have provisions for that 5th belt.
I am wondering if a seat can get an FIA approval without being able to accomodate the latest in safty gear, or if FIA approval is just an issue of strength/crash worthy-ness.
I have not been able to find any info on the internet about different seats and wether or not specfic models have that submarine belt provision.

Thanks guys. I have been looking at the Sparco Corsa, because I know that Sparco has the slot. I was also wondering what my options are. I like the Bride seats, but like I said I can't tell from the picture if the seat has the provision.
Kinda sounds like I am safe with any FIA seat, but of course I would check with the seller before buying if I end up buying over the internet.

Yes I can.
I should have typed: COULDN'T tell by the pictures. I meant to imply that I liked the Bride because they are a known good, but before the replies to this query I could not tell by the pictures. Additionally I am still looking at other options.

if you are going to race NASA, here's a tip. Don't get Bride, especially when only recently they got a FiA certification. Only if it's the maxis or gardis. Newer Recaro's (Profi-SPA damn feels nice). www.speedwaremotorsports.com

Why? If its FIA its FIA. Are you thinking that a tech shop might not like it because they had not seen one before, or not on their list?

would you take something that meets FiA standards, or exceeds them??

Exceeds them of course. Is this a trick question? Are you trying to say that a new Bride just makes it as FIA approved? Please clarify your point.
