i think it looks better than post 98 AMGs becuase it looks more VIP style. It's my brother's car and he babied it very well, no scratch in the exterior and no rip in the interior

interested although the high mileage of a Benz scares me..... Costly parts i'd imagine... also how old was your brother & what was insurance like... being that it is an AMG???

He is 29 yrs old single, his insurance is cheaper then his brand new SAAB 9-2x's aero, it was just alittle bit more expensive then his C220 before. full coverage for half year is only $600 with highest coverage rate on body and property damage.

Regrading parts replacement, this AMG suppose to be the cheapest one to fix out all of the AMG. Because this car is the first production of AMG line which was using lots of parts from C280 and S500 (brake).

I also have to mention that he already fixed the most common W202 problem and most expensive part -> main engine wire harness ($1200). all pre 00 w202 had wire degrading problem and it cause miss fire and many problem.

It is interesting to see many people would pay $13000 for a used E36 m3 with same mileage but not the mercedes.

HMMm.... I'm intrigued, but am hooked on 240's.... Although 12k doesn't seem like an unfair price for this gorgeous car, a 240 worth 12k will be more provide alot more car in my opinion. But I just graduated from Universal Technical Institute a couple months ago, sold my kouki SR before coming home for the summer & thought my next car would be something more luxurious that I was ready to take care of while attending college. But I just can't steer away from the nissans... Make me a deal I can't refuse...

Just looked up the KBB which is used by all the dealerships.... I know, I worked at HONDA in Phoenix while attending school.

Anyways the Kelley Blue Book price in excellent condition which it is by looking at the photos is $9890.... And yes this is private part price.... So that's quite a bit different from $13k, if you feel like dropping it down to that price, then I'd be a heck of alot more excited in doing business....

How many mercedes transmissions have you rebuilt...??? Finding old AMG parts would be so... hard but the car is very nice, I think I'm just going to stick to the 240 though. Better college car... cheap.

240sx is a good car, so have fun with it.

Ohh no disrespect about your car, I love it. That model is awesome, but I think the price tag is a little high, but if you plan on lowering it I could be interested... But I'm trying to think logical, with gas prices & being in college, money isn't exactly flowing at the moment....

Don't lowball... That's a steal of a deal for a C36. He shouldn't care about your money problems, he's trying to sell a car, not give you a handout.
