Well I spent Saturday working on my 240, changing fluids and getting ready for a driving school next week, and helping out at my friend's shop prepping his racing 510 (which looks badass right now in nissan solar yellow paint).  Well I went out to grab food and do my test drive after I was done to check that everything was working right.  Well the place we ordered food from told us that we placed our order after the kitchen was closed, but apparently this was information they couldn't give out over the phone, so they delivered the news when we showed up in person.  So we drive across town by way of East Wahington to go to the Tumbleweed my friend works at.  Well East Wash. is the cruising strip in Madison on Fri and Sat nights (which I haven't been to on a good night since high school) and as soon as I get on a ricer pulls out in an Olds Acheiva with white wheels and exhaust is trying depserately to show off, and yet barely out accelerating my lazy 4th gear pull from 30mph to 40mph.  I really should have stopmed his ass just to put him in place.

So about a mile down the road we're stopped at a light and the guy in the next lane, just behind me, honks his horn and I assume he wants to tell me that my 180sx tails are cool, but I notice he's pointing to his backseat, not my car.  So me and the passenger look and some chick is flashing us.  I wish I could say that this story has a better ending, but she really wasn't that hot, in fact she barley passed for decent, but it was still humorous.

After we picked up dinner we hoped a similar event would a occur with a finer example of the female figure, however we couldn't seem to cruise beside anyone over the age of 16 or not driving a ford ranger.

Well around 2oclock we wrapped up work on the 510 and I packed all my tools in my trunk and headed home.  Of course right before my exit a pair of ricers and a guy who who thought his four runner was a sport compact drive by and try to race me.  Now with such a clear road and blatanly riced out eclipses (undercar neon, washer lights, indeglo gauges, altezzas, pretty much by the book) I was very tempted, but knowing I had loose tools and a sunroof in the trunk I figured it best to hold off.  Man it would have been fun to hand them their asses.

In all it was a fun ass night.  A full day of working on cars, with a bunch of car guys who make me look like I know nothing about cars, instead of the other way around like it usually is.  And then some fun cruising I haven't had since high school.  Now I just can't wait to actually get to legally drive my car into triple digits next week and begin to realize the potential in our beloved cars.  I'm also hoping I get a few laps in the 510, hehe.

Hey how are those indeglo gauges? I have been thinking about getting them.
