I'm looking in on getting a turbo for my KA24DE. I'm going to most likey buy all the parts seprately because of the high price of buying a whole kit. Also that way I piece the turbo system together the way I want it.

I'm just not sure where to start. Do you guys know any good set-ups? What are all the parts you need to have the turbo run. As far as I know, I beleive you need to get a turbo, turbo madifold, Fuel Controler, Oil lines, and it's probably good to get some bigger injectors, I also want to get an intercooler and then Id have to get intercooler piping. What else would I need? Any other help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys

Hey, i'll post for you cause I really cant post in the FAQ section yet (my KA-T is not running or even put together yet). But here is a list of my mods either in the mail or at my machine shop.

S13 KA block hot tanked, decked, bored .02" over,
shot peened stock rods
Arias 8.8:1 pistons 89.5mm
Cometic MLS HG .054"
ARP head, main, rod fasteners

Phat KAT manifold/DP
PK GT32 .63 ar turbo
tial 38mm wastegate (.8bar spring)

550cc sidefeed injectors
spec stage 3 clutch

Enthalpy tune
ferra valves
factory replaced timing kit, water and oil pump
ssac 3" exhaust
walbro 255lph fp


my intercooler and piping have yet to be purchased but a sponsorship is in the works. oh, and i also need to think about an oil catch.

With this setup and the enthalpy tune i'm shooting for around 350 RELIABLE daily rwhp. Hope that helps you out.
