They look like eccentric bolts to me.

if they are for the front they probably replace your strut to spindle mounting bolts. If they are for the rear they replace mounting bolts for teh LCA or UCA.

Just start trying them, they will probably only work in on place :D

I'm with stillmatic... those look like eccentric bolts for front camber adjustment. They replace the bolts that hold the shock to the spindle, IIRC.

If they are for the rear. It looks like the bolt that holds the ruca to the frame.

thats pretty cool if it works and stays aligned.

They give you about .02 extra degree adjustment, and most of them seize up after final tightening and shear off next time you remove it.

Basically a cheesy ass way to gain very little in the way of alignment. Numerous companies have been selling them for years and I've never heard of any long term success stories.

Well I could probably search and get this... but, since the thread is already open. I need some camber adjustment for the rear... anyone have an idea on a good company to go with?

true dat. nothing beats real camber plates. all the adjustability you need.

these give just about 2* of camber. The nuts for these bolts are smashed at the end to keep them tight, but i could see how they would give a difficult time in the future.

another way (that some kits use) is a plastic wedge (almost like a door stop) and a bolt with a higher rating but smaller size than factory.

Replace the upper bolt with the smaller one (leaves space to slide) and slip in the wedge to adjust, then TQ the upper bolt. May not work for 240's, but less likely to sieze. Could also notch/oval the strut and use the wedge block.

I've never seen camber plates for the rear... do they make them?

No they dont but they do make adjustable rear control arms! The cheaper solution is to get some offset bushings available through whiteline(pdm-racing.com) which allow you to adjust your rear camber in either

"NEW and a FIRST for rear camber correction. Whiteline has introduced these offset rear polyurethane bushings that will help to correct excess negative camber often associated with 240SX's and 300ZX's lowered more than 1.5 inches. KCA347 includes enough bushings for the rear of your 240SX and 300ZX to correct up to .75 degrees of camber. Purchase 2 kits for up to 1.5 degrees of camber correction."

straight off of PDM's website. Yeaaahhhh sucka!

You use 1 on each side replacing the upper spindle bolts, they are loosened and rotated in order to adjust camber. I've used some of these for well over a year with no problems at all...Even after getting coilovers w/ camber plates I kept them because you can have them adjusted so your camber plate markings are 100% accurate left to right...not to mention you can get wicked neg camber if you set them and your camber plates all the way negative (that amount of camber is only good for looks or "fitment" though).

Yeah, those suck. You can use 2 per side replacing the 2 bolts from the strut to the spindle, just turn them in or out to get camber changes, if you use 2 on a side then turn the top and bottom so they are facing opposite directions. In my opinion, not worth it. They will either seize or break lose, either way they are not consistent enough for racing, as they tend to shift around and change your alignment. Not really worth it when you can get mad neg. camber for free using a dremel.. but top mount plates are still the way to go.
