Wazup guys. I'm new to this board. My name is Oliver, NJ. Who has the Powertrix adj. arms kit and how do you like them? Are they durable? Do they fit right?

or if you would prefer www.battleversion.com, guaranteed not to rip, rattle, tear or shake, laboriously crafted by an albino drunk hawaiin drifter, dipped in a 100 year old scotch and blessed by the drift gods before being floated down the amazon on a raft formed by locks of hair of one-thousand dancing maidens, shipped right to your door in a non-marked, discreet plain-brown box.

They fit great, no problems yet for me. Price was the reason why I got them. I got them ridiculously cheap.

Nay. Things I did not like...

1. Quality of the welds
2. Rust in threading making it hard for adjustment
3. PAINTED not powdercoated (paint washed while I was cleaning out the threading)
4. Not boots on bearings

Ironically I'm using them right now. Later on I'll change them out. They do their job, but in the long run I'd try another brand. Definitely go with something that's powdercoated and using a good quality material.

Thanks for the replies guys. My main issue is PRICE and practical aspect. My S13 is first and foremost a daily driver. Anyone else have a direct experiance with Powertrix adj. arms?

I have them, but I haven't put them on yet...

Charless seems to be a good person to deal with, good support on the vendor's...

You must have gotten the older ones because what you just said is not true. The instructions say to use anti-seize on the threads, they are not painted they are chromed, there are dust boots, and the welds are pretty good.

Way I look at it, once the car is set up and adjusted to within spec, there's no need to continually play with the adjustments. I used anti-seize and lubed everything well, but I also haven't touched the arms since the initial alignment and don't foresee needing to in the future. In that respect, they do their job fine.

I've got a full SPL setup in front, and a full eBay setup in the rear... no problems with either...

How do you like the lower control arms? Did you have them adjusted at a race alignment shop?

Correction:

Yes, what I say is true and there is a possibility that they are indeed the older ones.

i just put my new-version Powertrix RUCA's on my car. quality of the product is great, and fitment was also just as great. i have nothing but great things to say about their products.

I am running the full round of their stuff on my car. The products are top notch, with Teflon ball joint and dust boot to protect from debris.

If price is your main point, you can't beat the powertrix bars.........especially since i have a few extra sets of rucas and tension rods lying around for waiting for someone to get a hell of a deal.

You guys are convincing me. I just might make that purchase today. Looks like they should be a great compliment to my Silkroad RM/8s. I havn't installed them yet cause I want to put everything in at once. Then I can get an alignment right after.

I agree, I just picked up a set from bobbyboy. Instalation was ease, the looks are very nice. Nice welds, looks heavy duty and next to that it was inexpensive. My friend has the old version and has no problems with them. For the price you can't beat it.

got the full rear set up, i dont have the dust boots and i checked the joints, no squeaking, and they work fine. they do their job at a reasonable price. There was a little rust on the chrome ones after a couple months. but a little rubbing compound made them as good as new. Charles is a great person to deal with. go powertrix
