I have this exhaust on my N/A Ka24e and it's sweet. It went on without a hitch. I don't have the engine back system, I went with the catback setup. I can feel a definate boost in performance. I know it'll be better when I get my SR20DET this month. I would say it's worth it just for the exhaust system. I heard the manifold interferes with some after market suspension components. I didn't here anything about the downpipe though.

don't waste another thread on SS autocrome ...
This has been discussed many times, and I think with a simply "SSAutocrome" search, you'd get good results on whether the systems is worth it or not.

i tried that everyone has alot to say about other things but not the engine back system. its not a waste if i get something from it. Man some of you guys go off the chain.. when did it become such and issue about a question if a man doesnt want to say anything useful why not just dont say anything.. is it just a bunch of 500 hp nissan guys on here that have been to Nissmo and R&D for those guys ???? just a question or has that been on here too??

nope... stock, old, KA. just like the way it is (with the stupid gas price)...
I figure you could search or post a thread specifically on the SS autocrome manifold...
IMHO (reading members' review), the manifold is likely to crack on ya.

thats what im looking for where is it cracking whats going specific. not vague remarks. i need facts i can use it and modify at that price cheaper than i can bend pipe and buy it. as long as the pipe it self is not blowing out or weak.. welds are easy to fix what i would like to know is the issue that they aren suporting the turbo and hanging parts off the mani. if thats the case simply bracing it would fix the issue.

get the kit and sell the exhaust manifold on ebay bc it will crack sooner or later. the exhaust itself will perform within a few horsepower of any 600+ dollar exhaust.

ive heard they use thin materials on the manifolds and its the pipe thats cracking...

well im currently looking at doing gussets to the turbo flange and also at the engine flange. its similar to the way i used to do our turbo stangs when we turn the headers upside down to add turbos.. i got a plan also once i get it here i will draw it in solid works and find the weakest points and design my gussets.. thanks to all for you help!

For manifold, go with megan racing. I got a megan one and my roomie got a SS on his civic. I like the weld better on the megan, the pipes seem a bit thicker *heavier over all* and the collector looked alot smoother and even than the SS one.
but like everybody says, equal lenth mani will crack sooner or later. Stick with stock if your worried bout it. You can do a couple of things that can help with making the manifold last longer. More solid engine mounts *cusco* and weld a flex pipe with the Downpipe for more safe measure.
