I just get out of work happy to go fix my car today when while i was driving i notice that my temp guage was maxing out. I was suppirzed i didnt do anything my car was parked outside and it wasnt that hot outside. Then smoke started leaking out so i stop the car and find a crack on the top portion facing the front of the car. It likes on the complete oposite side of the radiator hose on the front of the radiotor on the plastic black top.. i saw the crack so i started to push it hopefully to put it together. I was using my car key and boom a small hole the side of the key sideways pops in and now i have a small 2mm by 4mm hole and the crack that goes along with it. I mean now im pissed cuz i cant drive my car unless there is a small fix i can do to use the car for a while or i guess imma have to get a new radiator, can anyone help me out???

you are S.o.l. u gonna need a new radiator fast. nothing much u can do about cracks since ur system under pressure, so even if ghetto fix it, its still gonna leak soon.
get a new rad at junkyard.

well yea it will, u just gonna have to modify your coolant hose, upper one. and its not gonna work with stock fan shroud, only with electric fans since no clearance for moded hose. ur best bet to get a ka koyo

Theres this epoxy with fiberglass that works real good on plastic. I used it on my other cars radiator and it hold ups pretty damn well. I was surprised i mean i used the 24hr jb weld and that shit crap real fast but i was worth a try so head over to your local auto parts store and get it. Dont know the name of it but its fiberglass with epoxy that goes on the radiator for the plastic area.

FUCK, that just happened to me. and i kept driving my car to blow out the engine so my dad could buy me an sr. :) so if you want to blow out your engine keep driving it. what happened was the radiator hose came off cuz the radiator tank pipe cracked and was shooting antifreeze everywhere// it was even coming through my a/c inside my car. and i kept driving, hehehe. so i cracked a head gasket then a valve and it died. ;)

wow..... i have nothing to say .... you could've just took off the relay for the fuel pump and crank it ... and fake it to your dad that it died... and then tell him to buy the sr and sell the ka.... that was a total waste of a ka..... how sad. :spank:
and chris... i didn't understand half of what you said...
just get a replacement off of ebay if you are just running the reg ka... with no mods... just flush and bleed thoroughly. no need to go performance when your ka isn't and there is no need... just a waste of money that you can use somewhere else my .o2
