Steel wool and brake cleaner.  It's also good for bad acne and touch-up jobs on your paint.  j/k-it only works for acne.

I have never cleaned out a TPS or MAF cause of a rough idle but I have cleaned out TB's cause of carbon buildup. It helps with the idle most of the times. We clean the TB on all cars that we tune up at our shop.Just get some cleaner(we use AC Delco X-66A) and spray the front and back of the throttle plate and clean it with a small brush or a rag. You want to spray some in the holes after the throttle plate also to clean out the idle valve. Good luck. Oh and what does your car look like? I live in Hawaii and I might have seen you around before. E Mail me if you cant find the cleaner and I can get you some.

Brake/carb cleaner will destroy a maf. You should use MAF cleaner on the MAF. Simple huh?

For the tps I use electrical contact cleaner.

i've taken automotive classes and the teachers have tld us u can use rubbing alcohol...the isopropyl 70%...i think i spelled it right..hahah...yea the liquid u clean urself when u get cuts, and yeah i've been taught not to use brake cleaner on MAF cuz they leave residue on the wire, which will probably make ur car run lean, possible throwing a code, therefore if u dont fix it, it will kill your catalytic converter, and yea if there is a MAF cleaner, use it, i've never seen one in person cuz i never bother to look for any.....and TPS sensor..ummm dont think u can clean it. i know u can adjust them on some cars, but yea u can use a digital oscilliscope to identify if ur TPS is bad(if it has a glitch)

I used to clean my vw maf using 93+% rubbing alcohol. by putting the maf with pipe in a gallon zip loc bag and fill it up enough to reach the sensor inside the pipe and just slosh it back and forth for 5 mins or so to get a good rinsing. and allow it to air dry for like 30. im guessing you could do the same for the tps
