Definately not over say 80 bucks. It is sooooo easy it isn't funny. You can check it out on my posthttp://www.zilvia.net/f....;t=8006 If you can just get the backend jacked up and the bolts on the cat aren't to hard you'll be able to do it at home. I had a lift but it really was easy. If you have any questions message me and I'll be glad to help.

It cost me $30. Took the muffler shop about $15 minutes to do it (assuming you dont run into problems like broken/rust bolts).

well, if you wanna do it yourself for free, quick n easy, but risking your life, do it like the way i did it (sort of) and i have an s13, i think it's the same...

call a friend up
friend comes over
borrow friend's jack
use car's jack
jack the rear tires up (b causoius, the front wheels r free moving)
craw under your car
2 bolts on the cat (w/ ground wire, around 13mm?)
2 bolts on the rubber bushing (10mm?)
2 bolts at the very end of the car, you need an extension, or a very long philips screw driver, (10mm? or phlips)
now, jiggle it outta the rubber hinge
tell your friend to give u a hand (it is heavy)
and bang, goes the stock exhaust
bolt the new exhaust back on

took me an hour, but i was looking for tools...

Spend the money and get yourself some wheel chocks. Having your car fall on you isn't something that's going to make for a good weekend.

buy a set of jackstands for like 20 bucks and lock the transmission by leaving it in reverse, set the parking brake too \

leaving it in gear, and locking the e-brake do nothing when the ass is in the air...

lol the things that people post, ironic isnt it! Maybe that guy drives a front wheel drive. I guess us poor folks gotta pay to have just the muffler put on. Can you bolt on a muffler? Isn't it better to have it welded on anyway? Thanks!

it would have to be welded if it was just a muffler but a CATBACK replaces everything that is BOLTED on from the cat on back. so there is no need to weld you just undo a couple of bolts, put the exhaust on and rebolt it.
