Hey!
I was about to check out my windshield wiper motor to see if its dead or not but before that happened i ran across an old post that mentioned a window amp. I know that it controls the speed of the wipers, but would the non-existence of it cause the wipers not to work? I looked for a brown box on the passenger side of my s14 but i couldnt find it. I will take a pic in a few seconds. thanks!

Behind the cruise control actuator, rear passenger corner under the hood. Brown if it's an SE, black if it's a base model.

To the left of the motor, under the fender apron. It's secured with a single M8 bolt.

You've just been killed, no wonder it doesn't work.
It's gone, someone must have snagged one night while you were sleeping. There should be about an 8pin plug loose somewhere close, it comes off the ECU harness and extends out close to where the wiper motor plug comes from.
I have a base model Zenki if you need it, only difference is the lack of variable intermittent control. Still will work fine, even on an SE.
$25, PM me.

i guess whoever did the rb swap did that for some reason. Anyway, i only found a 4pin plug close to that area. I have a picture attached. Is this the reason why the wipers wont work? What happens if i cant find that 8pin plug?

Not a good pic, what color are the wires? That plug looks to be female also, the amp plug is male.
It's possible they moved the wiper amp inside, that's a trick I do, but there's no telling where. If you can drop the blower case you'll have a better idea of where it is.
Have the wipers ever worked? If so, it might just have come unplugged or a crimped wire has broken. Install doesn't look very clean so there's no telling about the possible rat's nest inside.

The wires are Blue, white, black, and green, 4 wires. How can i tell the difference between a female and a male plug. What is the blower case? I'm not sure when the wipers stopped working but i did ask the previous owner and i'm waiting on the reply. Please let me know if u can help me out. thanks!

A male plug has pins, where the female plug has a connector to accept the pins(holes) :boink:

That's the other side of the cruise servo plug.
The blower case is the case that holds the blower motor (!). If it's anywhere inside the car it's in that region, but like I said there's no telling where the guy put it.
Another reason never to buy a car already rigged.
