I'll check the book when I get home to tell you your problem. It is possible but the stock ECU acts like a bitch when you do.

Thanks but I might have found it.
I had a hunch the canister vent control valve was the problem since there was a recall on them. I went to take it off the canister for testing but one bolt was stripped inside so I had to remove the whole canister but then every single bolt that holds it on broke, what a rust bucket. Anyways i just tested it by giving it 12v and blowing through the tube, air passes through with power or without so my guess is that its seized. Heres how i tested hopefully the right way

Might as well replace the valve and see if it fixes it instead of removing everything if the ecu is going to be a bitch about it/ would you agree? I just need a inspection sticker since i allready been pulled over for it.
Never had these probs when the sr was in there :fruit:

ECU won't care at all if it's there or not, there's nothing OBD that relates to engine control.
You will however have the CEL lit continuously until you take it out as well, and you won't pass either visual, plug-in, or dyno testing.

Well my CEL has been removed for years , i just use a actron obd2 scanner. I do however need to pass the plugin.
Nissan wants $110 for the valve, fuck that I took one off my brothers kouki which is converted to obd1 anyway.
I just drove a drive cycle and no codes yet.
Ill try for a sticker tomorrow just gotta throw stock exhaust and blinkers on it.
