went out to my car and cranked it over, fired right up, idled for about 5 seconds, and shutters and dies like it ran out of fuel. crank a bit more and it hit and i gave it some gas and kept giving it gas to drive away, after about a block it began to be able to idle fine. drove about 25 miles to my house had NO problems. got home, sat and it idled for about a minute fine, shut it off, tried to restart it and it just fired and then died again. i put a z32 fuel filter on it today. fuel pump maybe?

theres 2 sensors..

one for the dash gauge and one for the Ecu. The one you need to change is the Ecu one.

Its Red connector (2 pin) Theres a metal clip you need to remove.
The one wire one is the dahs gauge you dont have to change this one.

Either fuel pump or fuel pump RELAY. Try swapping out the relay first before you swap out the fuel pump. Also check your ground wires to make sure you don't have a short. You're gonna need a FSM to trace the lines.
Anyhow, hope this helps..

Hehe.... sounds like possibly if you took off your return/inline fuel lines you could've switched them? that happens sometimes....? Possibly lines not tightened down?

didnt take off any return lines. only fuel lines were for the filter and that cant be switched. gonna try the relay today, it cant hurt. im just waiting for the pump. good thing i have spare cars.
