air bleeder screw on intake manifold broken... noez!

as i was doing a little work on my manifold the air bleeder screw for coolant broke.

it snapped right in half, with the bottom half still 100% inside the manifold.

what would be best to take this out?

Screw extractor, 2 bucks at lowes/home depot

i was afraid i'd have to shell out 70 bucks on one of those stupid craftsman screw out kits

You can try lightly drilling it forward, it may catch and thread on through. Stick a rag under it to catch it.

interesting idea! i'll give that shot.

no need for the rag. the manifold is completely disassembled and sitting on the floor in my room. ;)
