I had picked up some new quarter glass and had planned on getting them installed at the same time I got my roof of my car repaired. Well, the glass I had gotten did not come with the seals on it, and according to the shop that is doing the work, you can't reuse the old seals on the windows. I havent yet contacted a dealer, but Ive done searches here and have turned up nothing. Are these a stand alone item to buy. does anyone here have an idea of how I can get these windows in? Thanks in advance

You're dead. Seriously, the moulding is part of the quarter glass, on most of the ones I've pulled it's still bonded down and there's no way to get it off separately, sometimes with enough heat it may come loose in places but it's not meant to. Whoever sold you the glass may have spent a few hours cutting it all off because it was damaged anyway and knew it wouldn't sell like that.

well I called everywhere and nobody sells seals by themselves, the body shop thats putting the windows in after fixing my car was looking at them and told me they may be able to pull the old ones off and put them on the new ones. I have 2 sets of glass with seals so I have spares, hopefully with enough heat they'll come off. They were sitting inside the car in the hot sun and I went out and started pulling on them in places and it started to come away from the window in places. So maybe this will work?

they're sold by Nissan as one piece - that is, the glass and the seal are one piece - not meant to be separated.
