Is it my imagination or are the threads I subscribe to dissapearing? Is there some kind of time limit on subscriptions?

I have been doing some database maintenance over the past several days.

There were several hundred subscriptions that have invalid email addresses causing over two thousand email bounced messages. This is slowing down the server, so I have to "flush" the queues every now and then.

Everyone needs to check and update their email addresses! :rant2:

I know the reason for this but honestly I'm getting really tired of it. I would like to subscribe to a thread and actually be able to go back to it a week later. Instead the subscriptions are all deleted...

Just ban people who dont have correct email addresses or disable their subscription options or something, anything!

Haven't done this in over a month, so don't know what problem you're having.

or just change your subscription notifications to none and check them manually. ( i mainly use mine as a referance of the best threads ever) but have the notifications set to never send an e-mail.

I still have this problem too. It's the only Forum were my Subs disappear.

Don't know if this is related, but I did notice that alot of emails to Yahoo mail servers are getting rejected. Turned logging on and almost 80% are being bounced.

I sent an email to Yahoo asking why, but haven't heard anything back yet.
