what did some of you other S13 guys do about that carpet looking stuff on your doors?
If you spray paint a plastic piece with two coats then clear coat it, will it hold ok?
Thanks

I'm sure there are mixed feelings about painting your interior peices yourself. Becuase I was bored one day I decided to do a little bit of painting, I removed some peices and sanded them down with really fine grit sandpaper. I applied a coat of primer then sanded it again, I repeated this a few times then put primer on it. I then applied very thin coats of paint to the pieces until i was happy with the appearence. I then applied a clear coat to them and they looked good. After time went by I wished I didn't do it, but one of the main reasons I did it was becuase the peices were worn and had scatches all over them. I'm now going to the junkyard and I'm putting back the normal black trim that I painted until I get to where I'm going to replace interior parts, this will be down the road since I'm finishing up my sr20 swap.
I would really would invest in pre-made custom trim like the carbon fiber, or brushed metal trim you can buy. It will look alot better.....
