Summer is here, and I've started working diligently on my car. After a long time of letting her sit dormant (school and work) I can finally break into her. Tire fitment is priority numer UNO...

In order to fit these...

I had to do this...

Which lead to about 2.5 hours of soldering (DONT DO IT THIS WAY-remove dash)

Which lead to a nice (sorta) clean harness...

I'm going widebody front and rear, so I got happy with my grider...

Last but not least, I'm tired of my bucket o' bolts ride. I know i'm not as X-TREME with my bare floor and gutted interior, but a full cabin of B-Quite will be sweet!!!

Looking good. I just don't like how you cut the harness in one spot.

Nice choice with the tire size. I thought i was going big with 255/45 on 17s but you showed me.

 You might have heard the age old saying "The bigger the glob the better the job" well, it's really not true. Here are some useful tips (http://www.elexp.com/t_solder.htm) for next time should the need arise.

All in all it looks like your project is really starting to shape up, best of luck to you!

yeah, i'm a complete n00b at soldering. i wishing i hadnt cut it in one place either...and yea its a little sloppy...but the tire clearance is worth it (just wish i did a better job)
