89 240 coupe For Sale in MN

Like the topic says, its and 1989 nissan 240sx COUPE ( not to be confused w/a HATCHBACK) . Its got a 5spd, pw/pl power moonroof/ perfect black interior, HUD( cracked windshield though ), AC ( though it needs to be charged), cruise and tilt. Now for the nitty gritty. theres some minor rust around the sunroof and under the driverside mirror. The only spot I can recall being rusted through is about the size of your thumb nail by the sunroof. It does not cause any leaks however. the rust is minor. The body is otherwise very straight and clean. The tires are about 60% or better. The motor is a KA24e, its got 96k on the lower end, 6k on the head , water pump and timing chain. The car itself has almost 200k on it. Now for the price, I need 1500 for it, firm. Any less than that and I'd just prefer to keep it around for a back up vehicle. BTW if anyones interested but turned off by the rust I would be interesting in repairing it for XXX amount if dollars over my asking price. ( about 400 bucks and the body would be flawless)

so there is no rust underneath the car? none by the strut towers under the hood? none by the a pillar?

what color is it? steel rims or alloy? does the hud work besides the cracked windsheild? if not that can be very costly to fix if its the hud unit itself. also if its out are you sure abou thte mileage.

also did the valves break is that why the head was replaced? wioth a cracked hud thats a good 900 buck windsheild right there so i think your asking a lil too much especially with the mileage on the car.

If theres any rust under the car it minimal surface rust, theres nothing thats starting or even close to starting to come through.
The HUD unit itself works, its the windshield thats cracked. The HUD works perfectly.
As far as I know the mileage is accurate. The odometer and trip meter both work flawlessly and theres no odometer tampering in the past on the title.
The car is red with the steel wheels.
The motor in the car is not the original,when I bought it ( the motor) I was told it had 90k on the lower end 3k on the timing chain, water pump, and head, I really have no idea why the head was replaced. Since then I've put 3k on the motor.
Like I said, 1500 bucks firm, if I can't get it I'll just keep it as a back up car, or maybe see what its worth parted out. The rolling shell itself with a good interior is worth 800bucks in many places so I don't think the price is out of line.

Sure, I'd deliver it for a little more, where in canada are you?, Actualy my room mate needs to pick up a car in canada in the next few weeks, so there might be somthing we can do there.

I guess my roommates dad is taking care of the car thing for him so that won't work but I'd be willing to just put it on a car hauler and take my truck up there and then I'd be able to come back that way. Pics are coming soon.
