How to test a CAS for functionality?

Anyone know? I know it's getting voltage, gnd etc. I just can't be sure that it's working.

Lined up? do you mean clocked correctly? I'm not wondering how to set ignition timing. My ignition timing is right but the CAS is potentially bad and I want to be able to confirm this.
