View Full Version : 97 kouki bumper on a 95 zenki

will a 97 kouki bumper fit onto a 95 zenki bumper easily or wat do i have to make it fit? its ok if everything doesn't line up as long as it hangs there. can anyone skool me in this??

it wont line up with the lights. the 95 retainer and bumper supports is different.
You can TRY to make it fit.

you need the kouki support, fenders, headlamps and hood, too.

You have to do a 97-98 front end conversion and it involves all of the parts mrmephistopheles mentioned above. Below is a link here on zilvia.net that provides you more info and details on this conversion. Enjoy :)

this is the exact opposite of the Kouki front with the Zenki bumper that was posted earlier. it looked like it fit "ok"

Ok how about aftermarket aero. Like fiberglass then you just cut it up to make it fit.

u could make it "hang there" but there'd be gapage and it would look like shit.

If nothing else, zip ties alone could get it to "hang there"

us kouki bumper is the yuck. i mean it dont look good stock. at all. lip fixes it a lil bit but still i dont see why would u want it.

why wont it line up with the lights? with cutting and zipties,i mean. both the zenki and kouki have flat horizontal planes where the lights/grille end, so its possible, i just dunno WHY you'd want to do it

basically 1/4 of my 270R bumper got eaten by a rock. and i need one, i was considering the kouki bumper, but after what u guys said, i went out and got myself a JDM zenki bumper that came with a LIP for 150 bucks for Rbmotoring!!!!!! :w00t: trust me rbmotoring have some buried treasures they have no idea off.

Wow, so you bought a US look Zenki bumper but with a huge bulge for the license plate molded in and an ugly pair of orange turn signals fitted in it for $150? Good deal. Maybe you can buy a pile of feces for the same price. The regular JDM Zenki bumper looks as bad as the US Kouki.

I think a lip helps A LOT. Gets that crushed look some volume

the lip makes the us kouki look alot better, zenki bumpers are ugly, the lip helps a little
