I have very high hopes of seeing this one ever since i heard that Christopher Nolan is directing it and Christian Bale is starring in it.... Back to being the dark comic it's supposed to be with nipple less chest plate...hopefully im gonna catch it

after i saw him in equalibrium [spchk] i thought that he would make a perfect batman.. no emotions and pretty buff i dont really like the new suit though.. should stick w/ the Tim Burton design much better

If you were into the comics...this movie and some of the elements will make more sense.

just came back from watching it...

fyi the movies is heavily influenced by frank miller's batman works (year one and the dark knight returns). this is the same frank miller that did sin city. he is one of the driving forces that made batman dark instead of campy. i think he may have even coined the term 'the dark knight'. not sure though.

anyway the batmobile is inspired by his version of the batmobile in "the dark knight returns." i didn't like it at first, but watching it go in the movie was pretty cool.

all in all a great movie. go check it out!

That movie. . .OMG.

I can't explain it, it changed so many of my opinions/thoughts I don't even know where to begin.

I used to think Batman was lame, and didn't deserve to be in the Justice League. Just some :ghey: rich dood that learned martial arts.

But that moved him up alot more, I can officially say,

Batman>Superman

Katie Holmes in that movie, wow. I've never thought she was attractive, but after that, I would definately say Tom Cruise :bigok: :boink:

Yeah, go see that shit, that movie will definately revive your faith in Hollywood after such failures as

Star Whores (http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=episode3)

STOP READING MY POST AND GO SEE IT.

Seriously, stop scrolling down and reading other moronic posts, leave your house and see it now!

The review of it over at www.IGN.com said it was a better comic book movie then even Spiderman. I gotta see to believe it.

Finally back in Chicago :), Lower wacker owns!

Everything was great except the movie theater i watched it in.

Turned the a/c off halfway through the movie, lights kept turning on and off, then as the movie gets the climax they stop it, and everyone goes crazy. Someone breaks the glass screen in front of the projector, movie goes back on but they didnt rewind it... So I missed a good 5-10 minutes of the movie. Movie finally goes back on but the screen is distorted like you are watching a widescreen movie on a non widescreen tv w/o the bars on top and bottom.

Oh well I guess I'll have to go and watch it again.

You look retarded. lol

j/k

You missed a lot, then... don't diss based off the fact that the Batmobile looks lame. Like other elements in the film, its grounded in REALITY, and is actually functional considering what it is. (Military Assault Vehicle that never saw production)

Also, Christian Bale is PERFECT for Batman being that he was "American Psycho," cause uhh, Bruce Wayne is psycho.

Paid $15 and saw it @ IMAX last night. Worth every penny. One of the best films I have ever seen, hands-down. And I have seen a lot of movies.

If you're a fan of the comic or of good movies in general, you have to see it.

the batmobile had a small feature in the last episode of top gear, good stuff. first batmobile that was a one off, not built from another car. and in reality it's very fast and does handle like that.

OMG!! I saw this movie last night at the midnight showing and all i can say is AWESOME!!! I am a huge Batman fan, comics, figures, model cars, etc.... and i honestly thought the whole thing was going under once Joel Schumacher took over. Thank GOD for Warner Bros. to get their act together. Christian Bale is the BEST BATMAN EVER!! I saw him in a film called EQUILIBRIUM and i instantly thought this guy would make one badass batman, and once i heard he was casted i was excited and had high expectations for BATMAN BEGINS. However, this movie blew all my expectations away! Batman was actually kinda scary in some scenes. And Scarecrow was great as well. Perfect small, skinny guy to play him. This movie explains everything with how he got his toys, his parents, training, everything. Move over Spiderman, the dark knight is back!!!

ps. I dont know who said it but i agree that this movie was every bit as good as Spiderman on how they brought the true character of the comic book to the screne.

Just came from watching the movie and I must say it was AWESOME. The batmobile was badass and I love the shots of Katie Holmes towards the end of the film. ;) Christian Bale made a good Batman, but he voice while in costume urked me a bit. Really liked how the movie ended and recommend everyone go out and watch it.

This movie was great. Explains how he became Batman really well, and how he got the technology for his gadgets.
